And… New wooden pin flexi-flips

I haven’t done too much with my hair this past month – mostly I’ve been trying to stay cool, so things have stayed very simple with knots or twists that I keep held up by an XL Flexi Sport or a swerve. I found my old, regular-sized Flexi Sport a couple of days ago as I was cleaning. I got a second one because the first a) had been lost a long time and b) is fairly beat up. It still works though, and it’s in my hair right now. (The Flexi sports are really durable, but extreme heat is kind of their Achilles’ heel and this one that I have went through the dryer in a pocket.) I did do a really cute (and simple) topsy-tail braid a couple of weeks ago where the charm really was the only part of the flexi that was visible. I don’t flip the hair with the flexi in already, but I use old, stretched out scrunchies to hold the hair through that step, because they will slide off without getting tangled.
