It’s weird to think that June is just about over, and the days are starting to get shorter. I’m thankful that the really hot weather passed, though over the past week it’s been a good bit warmer than before, especially at night.
The last week or so has been filled with a lot of frustration, cranky kids, and things that didn’t quite go the way they should. On the other hand, I’m thankful that we have things like good dentists and things. I had an “extra” appointment this past week – I hated that I had to be there, but I was happy that the issue could (*finally*) be taken care of.
I’m thankful to the priest who thinks that it is important enough to have singers for things like baptisms, weddings, etc., that he paid the three of us who were there for one of these events something in appreciation. I’m thankful for not having to drive as much (even though there were appointments and stuff) and just taking it easy a little bit.
