Wordle explanations are posted a day late to ensure that no one accidentally sees the solution before playing.
Line 1: So… No four in a row for words starting with “F”. Now, “flout” isn’t the most horrible word to start with, but it didn’t do anything here.
Line 2: I would have started with “baste” or “beast”, except that the “T” has already been eliminated. Moved the “O” to the correct position… eliminated some lettersMoved the “O” to the correct position… eliminated some letters
Line 3: Hmm… Only the “A”, so I’m going to try a word I play fairly often, especially when I just have an “A” that might be in the second place, and it works well. Pretty good.
Line 4: I don’t like playing the double letter, and it’s frustrating that it doesn’t work out.
Line 5: Turns out, I wasn’t too far off with the double letter thing, I just picked the wrong letter first. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
