One of these days, I’m probably going to have to find another banner picture for Lilla Rose posts, but in the meantime – I still like the one that’s there, even though the picture was “half mistake”.
August’s Mane event is here!

Until tomorrow night (3 August 2023) the Mane Event bundle is 20% off.
The monthly promotion: Get a free purse sized “essential” with any purchase of $50 or more.

And… New releases!

I got myself a couple of things with Christmas in July, including a second Flexi Sport XL and gifts for a couple of people. I like that hair things are pretty, but at the same time useful. With all the Lilla Rose designs, there’s a lot to choose from as far as getting something to go with a person’s personality, but it’s also not something that comes off as too personal.

They do! I have really long, very fine hair and finding good solutions for how to keep it up and out of the way can be a challenge. I’d seen a video Morgan Donner did on Youtube about ditching hair elastics, and it helped inspire me to do the same thing (the exception being little ones at the ends of braids). It’s been close to a year and a half, and I can tell the difference. For one thing, for the first time ever, it’s gotten past the point of where it always seemed to stop growing. Secondly, I’ll find ponytail holders around the house and it’s absolutely shocking how much hair is stuck to them – which means that this was hair that was getting broken or pulled out when I was using them. (Mind you, I had the heavy-duty ponytail holders with some exposed elastic because long, fine hair is hard to keep in place.) The LR flexis take a little bit of getting used to because they are fixed sizes, so generally, if you’re doing a style with half your hair, you’d use a different clip than for a ponytail. I’ve always liked doing interesting hairstyles but it’s another thing that can take a good amount of time.

I don’t take time to do my hair but I really want to try to do so more often. I hope to catch up on your blog this week. I feel very behind right now!

I’m really behind on both reading and writing! So much for lazy summer days! *L* If you’d like, shoot me an email with your address, and I’ll send you something. Not quite a book giveaway, but kind of similar. ๐

Sure! I want to go back and read your substack posts. I don’t plan to post there because I have to keep redoing my posts but I will read other posts there!
