Life comes at us sometimes with lots of unexpected things
This week has been full of situations that have taken very large chunks of my time – kids, school, car, and yesterday evening, my kids went down in the basement, and ran back up, informing me that the basement was flooded.
Lord, have mercy.
The good news is that there’s a local place that can start working on it tomorrow; the bad news that it’s going to take a number of days to fix correctly, and so I’ll probably not be posting for the next few days.
Orthodox Christian mom with more than a passing interest in technology. And music. And history... And, and... My poor kids, right? They ask me a question and they get a lesson on something or another! In any case, I've always liked to write, so please grab a cup of tea (or other hot beverage) and let's get to know each other through the written word. :)
May God bless and keep you, this day and always.

Oh no! Sorry to read all this! Praying it all gets worked out soon.
Thank you. Nobody told me I’d be spending more time in the principal’s office as a parent than as a kid! I have heard – and I believe this more and more – that there is spiritual warfare that ramps up during Lent and that once we hit our Easter (Pascha) in a little over a week, some of this insanity may calm down a little, at least.

I can feel it that’s for sure! There feels like there is a great deal of truth to that as I deal with anxiety today!

I hope your situation is “dried up” before Pascha. May the Lord strengthen you!
