Wordle explanations are posted a day late to ensure that no one accidentally sees the solution before playing.
Line 1: Even with the “X”, I was hoping for a little more from “exist”
Line 2: The “I” in the middle with no “E”, “S”, or “T” makes this very interesting. Also, an “R” that’s not in place two but not part of “RT” to end… Interesting, indeed!
Line 3: I wasn’t a fan of the double “R” here, but I was having a tough time thinking of anything to play. At least with this, if the word wasn’t “whirr”, I’d know exactly where the “R” went.
Line 4: One of the possibilities here is “quirk”. Yes, there are other “IRK” words out there, but I couldn’t think of anything that wasn’t ruled out by other letter being ruled out. Why not? Just because there was another “Q” word recently doesn’t mean that it can’t pop up again… Hit the button… Yay! 🙂
