Life comes at us sometimes with lots of unexpected things

This week has been full of situations that have taken very large chunks of my time – kids, school, car, and yesterday evening, my kids went down in the basement, and ran back up, informing me that the basement was flooded.

Lord, have mercy.

The good news is that there’s a local place that can start working on it tomorrow; the bad news that it’s going to take a number of days to fix correctly, and so I’ll probably not be posting for the next few days.

Hopefully, things are well with all of you!

    1. Thank you. Nobody told me I’d be spending more time in the principal’s office as a parent than as a kid! I have heard – and I believe this more and more – that there is spiritual warfare that ramps up during Lent and that once we hit our Easter (Pascha) in a little over a week, some of this insanity may calm down a little, at least.
